HCL was into HCL Infosystems, HCL Technologies, HCL Healthcare has created place for it, in the technical world. Now HCL Corporation is into global talent-solutions, Shiv Nadar-promoted HCL Corporation on Thurday.  Now it has entered the skill development space with the launch of HCL TalentCare. The main aim of this venture is to be the one of the best compant for global talent-solutions addressing a wide spectrum of entry-level employ ability needs in India. HCL TalentCare, focusing on the IT, banking and insurance and healthcare sectors.

The HCL Talentcare group refused to disclose the amount being invested into the venture. Company officials said it needs almost six months to prepare fresh graduates for projects. With this HCL TalentCare we have fully into all categories. Company is planning to recruit over 20,000 graduates in coming three years. While India’s young population is its greatest asset, many young Indians are not equipped with the skills required for effective employment,” Nadar said.

Today, more than half of India’s population is under the age of 25, with 65 percent of the population under 35. About 12 million individuals are expected to join the workforce every year,” Shiv Nadar, founder and chairman, HCL, said.

This HCL TalentCare program will  focus on strengthening core skills, business understanding and communication skills of the candidates and depending on the vertical, the duration of the training will range from 6-12 months. planning to recruit train and provide career opportunities for young Indians. The company will develop a large pool of talent for entry-level roles in the IT services, banking, insurance and health care industries through a paid six-month residential training programme for graduates.

HCL TalentCare is going to take the recuitment to place in the three branches of HCL like Manesar, Hyderabad and Chennai. Previously we would concentrate more North India market but this time we wanted to be across the length and breadth of India,” said Roshni Nadar. The company’s proprietary technique -‘Jobability Quotient’test – will be used to assess and admit candidates to its flagship ‘Young Engineer Program’.
